Instructions, Advice and Answers to Common Questions:
  • Check that you meet the System Requirements: Windows or Mac operating systems are supported. A fast Internet connection (DSL, cable, T1 or higher) is strongly recommended.

  • We recommend using Internet Explorer as your browser. Here are download sites for the most common operating systems:
    Internet Explorer for PC
Internet Explorer for Mac is not available as of January 2006. Try Safari

  • QuickTime player download is available at: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

  • What is a UA NetID? UA NetID is a personal identifier for many online services at the University of Arizona. A valid UA NetID is required to access the online tutorials. All  U of A students and employees are eligible for a UA NetID. To create a UA NetID, to change your password, or to get more info, go to UA NetID Home.

  • What if I can't login? Email cbthelp@u.arizona.edu or call 520.621.4357

  • What do I do after I login? After your login ID and password have been verified you will be passed to the Virtual Training Center (VTC) site. You should see a welcome message and your name.
Note: If the maximum number of users are logged in with the UA login/password, VTC will give a message in red text asking you to try again later.

  • To see what tutorials are available or find a particular tutorial:

    1. Login to VTC

    2. Use the drop down menu or search function on the top right side of the VTC page

    3. Click on the hyperlinked title of the tutorial in which you are interested

    4. If you plan to return/continue a tutorial, click on ADD TO MY COURSE LIST
